Frank
Catanzano is a respected journalist and public relations
consultant who has worked for corporations and organizations
around the world. He has written speeches for top executives
and hundreds of articles on subjects ranging from stainless
alloys for aerospace to life aboard an oil super tanker.
Frank has won more than 16 national and local writing
and publicity awards and today owns Emerald City Communications,
one of Pittsburgh's leading marketing firms. An accomplished
musician, he also plays drums with local bands, primarily
for fund-raising events.
In the sports marketing and entertainment fields Frank
has created public relations programs for such prestigious
properties as The Pittsburgh Symphony, managing communications
for such international stars as Lorin Maazel and Marvin
Hamlisch, and international recording artists, The Jets’
Tour for Missing Children. He also was responsible for
advertising and promotions involving a licensed World
Wrestling Entertainment™ food product and has
conducted marketing programs for WWE Superstar and Olympic
Gold Medalist Kurt Angle, former Pittsburgh Penguins
Ron Francis and Larry Murphy, Pittsburgh’s Carnegie
Science Center and the Country of Qatar’s Automotive
Racing Program.
